I made these dangle earrings with durable, yet light-weight wooden teardrop-shaped bases and covered each piece front and back with high quality scrapbook paper in a school supplies design with images of notebooks, paperclips, markers, pencil bag, erasers, and colored pencils (red, blue, green, yellow, black, and white). I hand-painted the earring edges in a metallic silver paint. They hang on your choice of stainless steel or sterling silver ear wires. For protection, water resistance, and a glossy finish; I sealed them entirely with resin. These earrings are lightweight and one of a kind. * For size comparison, earrings are shown next to a quarter.
