I made these dangle earrings with durable, yet light-weight circle-shaped wooden bases and covered each pair with high quality scrapbook paper in a fall pumpkin and sunflower design on the front and an orange and white plaid design on the back (colors of orange, yellow, green, white). I hand-painted the earring edges in a gold metallic paint to match the gold- tone stainless steel 1 inch hoops. For protection, water resistance, and a glossy finish; I sealed them entirely with resin. These earrings are lightweight and one of a kind. * For size comparison, earrings are shown next to a quarter.
