I made these dangle earrings with durable, yet light-weight teardrop-shaped wooden bases and covered each piece front and back with high quality scrapbook paper in a rust color with a metallic gold design. The design resembles an abstract design of pumpkins in a field of hay. *Because of the cut and design of the paper, no two pairs are exactly the same. I hand-painted the earring edges in a gold metallic paint. They hang on gold-tone stainless steel ear wires, unless you choose the gold-filled option for an additional fee. For protection, water resistance, and a glossy finish; I sealed them entirely with resin. These earrings are lightweight and one of a kind. * For size comparison, earrings are shown next to a quarter.
